AS3326 DATAGROUP Datagroup PJSC

Datagroup is one of Ukraine's largest telecom operators, running a national

fibre backbone and selling IP transit, business connectivity, and wholesale

capacity from Kyiv.

What it's used for

• Backbone transit and interconnect across Ukraine, including cross-border capacity toward European exchanges.
• Corporate and wholesale services: leased lines, MPLS, and internet access sold to businesses and to other operators.

Notable

• Carrier address space, not eyeball space: much of what routes here is downstream customer networks rather than the operator's own subscribers.
• Datagroup appears as an upstream in other operators' routing policies across the region, which is what a national transit carrier looks like from the outside.

Interesting

• Ukraine's telecom market consolidated heavily in the 2010s and 2020s, and Datagroup was on the acquiring side of that — so an AS registered in the early commercial-internet years still anchors a large modern backbone.
