CETIN Hungary Zrt. (CETIN-HU) — the wholesale network-infrastructure company

spun out of Telenor Hungary in 2020, headquartered in Törökbálint. It owns and

operates the mobile access network that Yettel Hungary, its principal customer,

runs its retail service on.

What it's used for

• Subscriber access. The largest announced block resolves as IP-ADDR-IP-ADDR.dynamic.cetin.hu — dynamic end-user pools, i.e. Yettel's customers numbered out of the infrastructure company's address space.
• A smaller legacy block carries corporate hosts on customer-owned domains.

Notable

• A kind trap worth being explicit about: the holder is a wholesale infrastructure operator with no retail customers of its own, but the addresses are ordinary consumer devices. Classify by what the space carries, not by the company's business model.
• Users geolocate across Hungary generally; Törökbálint is only the registered office.

Interesting

• The infra-company split (network assets in one entity, brand and customers in another) is a recurring pattern in the PPF/e& telecom group, and it routinely leaves the eyeball traffic announced from an AS whose name no subscriber has ever heard of.
