AS10036 CNM-AS-KR DLIVE

CNM-AS-KR is D'LIVE, the largest cable multiple-system operator in the Seoul and

Gyeonggi region. It was founded in 2000 as C&M Communications — which is what the

CNM handle preserves — and rebranded to D'LIVE in April 2016. It runs 17 cable

broadcasting stations alongside broadband, VoIP and OTT services.

What it's used for

• Cable broadband for homes and small businesses across metropolitan Seoul and its surrounding province, bundled with digital TV, internet telephony and set-top OTT.
• Addressing for the subscriber estate — cable modems, gateways and CPE — plus the headend, provisioning and services infrastructure behind it.

Notable

• This is a large eyeball network, and the two figures that matter say so together. RIS observes a very substantial 474 IPv4 prefixes carrying 840,192 addresses — but only 9 neighbours. That combination is decisive: an operator holding the better part of a million addresses while peering with fewer than ten ASes is consuming that space, not selling it on. A wholesale carrier with that footprint would peer with hundreds.
• The prefix list is exactly what a consumer access network looks like: a handful of large aggregates (101.235.0.0/17, 49.1.0.0/17, 58.143.0.0/17) plus a long tail of /19s scattered across Korean ranges, carved up regionally for subscriber pools.
• No IPv6 is observed in routing, which is unremarkable for a Korean cable MSO.

Interesting

• Space here geolocates well to the Seoul capital region, but treat individual addresses as dynamically assigned consumer endpoints rather than stable hosts.
