AS9794 DNET-ID-AP PT. Core Mediatech D-NET

AS9794 (DNET-ID-AP) is held by PT Core Mediatech, the Indonesian ISP that trades as D-NET. It sells internet access, cloud and IT services, mainly to businesses, and is present across the Jakarta and Surabaya exchange ecosystem. Note the brand collision: a separate Indonesian company, PT Dutakom Wibawa Putra, has also used a "D~NET" name, so the brand alone does not identify this AS.

What it's used for

Customer connectivity and hosted services. RIS sees 33 IPv4 prefixes carrying 8,448 addresses, plus a single IPv6 2404:1b8::/32, and 6 observed BGP neighbours. Nearly every announcement is a /24, drawn from 202.148.0.0, 203.201.160.0 and 115.178.128.0 and originated individually rather than aggregated. That per-/24 pattern is what an ISP does when blocks are handed out to distinct customer sites or services and each is announced in its own right. The v6 /32 alongside the v4 makes this a genuinely dual-stack operator, which is not universal among Indonesian networks of this vintage. The modest address count paired with an open peering policy and connections at multiple Jakarta IXPs describes a mid-sized access and hosting provider, not a wholesale carrier: it peers locally to keep Indonesian traffic domestic and buys transit for the rest.

• Interconnection facilities span both Jakarta (APJII-Cyber, IDC 3D) and Surabaya, so the network is not single-city.
• The public marketing leans corporate (cloud, managed IT, enterprise connectivity) while the peering record calls it an ISP; both are consistent with a business-focused access provider.
