AO "ASVT" (ASVT-NETWORK) — a Moscow telecommunications operator founded in

November 1990 and described as the first commercial telecom company in Russia.

It sells home internet, television and telephony across the Moscow region.

What it's used for

• Consumer broadband and TV plus business telephony and connectivity in Moscow. Around 25,000 IPv4 addresses across a handful of large, contiguous blocks (212.46.0.0/19, 46.38.96.0/19, 95.182.32.0/19), all self-registered under the operator's own AS8752-MNT maintainer.
• rDNS delegation is sparse: core routers name themselves clearly (R1-MSK-…-CORE….asvt.ru, main2.asvt.ru) and legacy access concentrators still carry pppNNN.gwN.dialup.asvt.ru, but most of the subscriber space has no PTR at all.

Notable

• The access-concentrator naming (ppp…dialup…) names the access technology, not a service being sold; it is the fingerprint of an eyeball network's subscriber termination, and it is consistent with the company's own consumer broadband and IPTV product line.
• Well connected for its size: ~25 observed BGP neighbours against a modest address count, which is what an old, well-established Moscow operator with lots of local peering looks like.

• ASVT predates the Russian Federation itself — it was set up in late 1990, while the Soviet Union still existed, which makes it one of the oldest continuously operating commercial networks in the country.
