The rDNS is dominated by its own backbone (gw-lux-core-ru-msk-vol.naukanet.ru, gate001.naukanet.ru, edge routers in Moscow and St Petersburg) and by named business-customer hosts on their own domains: mail servers for a ceramics maker, a market-research firm, an engineering company, a Formula-style events operator (gptel.ru / grand-prix.ru).
• Downstream access networks ride it too, under zones like access.telecore.net.ru — Nauka-Svyaz acting as a carrier for smaller operators.

Notable

• Roughly 41,000 addresses across about 60 prefixes, but almost none of it is eyeball space. The one exception is a small PPTP pool (NNN-160-47-84-pptp.mnevniki.ru, named for a Moscow district), the residue of an absorbed local network rather than a mass-market product.
