Notable

• The many-small-prefixes pattern is not the scattered, third-party inventory of an address broker: every block is BMW's own space, announced from BMW's own AS, with first-party reverse DNS. It reflects an enterprise carving up legacy blocks across sites and internet gateways.
• Five observed neighbours — multi-homed to a handful of carriers, as an enterprise of this size would be, with no downstream customers.

Interesting

• BMW holds 192.109.63.0/24, 192.109.64.0/24 and 192.109.65.0/24, part of the old European 192.109/16 allocations handed out in the pre-CIDR era. Its connectivity long predates the commercial internet in Germany.
