BENESOL-BACKBONE — the international backbone of Dstny, a Brussels-headquartered

European provider of cloud business communications (UCaaS, hosted voice) and

business connectivity. The handle preserves Belgian Network Solutions (Benesol),

the company that was merged into Destiny NV, which later rebranded to Dstny.

What it's used for

• Backbone and access for Dstny's business customers across Belgium, the Netherlands and France. The rDNS is a museum of the group's acquisitions: ip-A-B-C-D.reverse.destiny.be and .destiny.nl, A-B-C-D.powered-by.benesol.be, business DSL under dsdeurne.nl, and large ranges still tagged not.updated.openip-cs.net from the French VoIP operator OpenIP.

Notable

• A B2B network. Dstny sells cloud PBX and connectivity to companies, not consumer broadband, and the DSL-style names in the space are business access lines rather than eyeball pools.
• The ~90 scattered /22s and /24s look at first glance like an address-broker inventory, but they are not: they are all RIPE-region, and the reverse names tie them coherently back to the operators Dstny bought. It is an acquisition trail, not a brokered one.
• The handle has outlived its holder twice over — Benesol to Destiny to Dstny.
