AS8290 SLOVANET-WS

SLOVANET-WS is a secondary Autonomous System of Slovanet a.s., a Bratislava

telecom operator that sells internet access, voice, security and cloud services

across Slovakia. It is not Slovanet's main network: it is a stub AS,

single-homed behind the company's primary [AS8778](https://asn.ipinfo.app/AS8778).

What it's used for

• Carrying a slice of Slovanet's own address space, mostly out of the 195.28.128.0/19 block the company has held since 1997, plus 185.77.144.0/22.
• The content is mixed rather than eyeball. Reverse DNS is a blanket generated pattern (195-28-NNN-NNN.slovanet.sk, 195-28-NNN-NNN.clicknet.sk), with no DSL, PPPoE or dynamic-pool naming anywhere in it. The 185.77.144.0/22 resolves entirely under cloud.slovanet.sk, and one /24 is registered as voice infrastructure.

Notable

• Because this AS holds provider-aggregatable space with undifferentiated reverse DNS, a single kind does not describe it cleanly. It carries hosting and cloud addresses, voice infrastructure, and customer assignments (including space sub-delegated to a smaller Slovak ISP) side by side.
• The eyeball and transit footprint lives on AS8778, which has the peering and the customer cone. Attributing Slovanet's consumer broadband to this AS number would be wrong.
• clicknet.sk, which appears throughout the reverse DNS, is a Slovanet brand, not a separate operator.
