AS6712 FORMAT-TV-AS

Velton ISP LLC is a regional Ukrainian broadband provider based in Poltava,

trading under the Format / Format24 brand. The registry handle FORMAT-TV-AS

and the netname FORMAT-TV-NET-6 both point at that brand rather than at the

legal entity.

What it's used for

• Consumer fibre-to-the-home service in and around Poltava, plus IPTV and IP telephony sold in the same bundle.
• Reverse DNS across the space is explicitly subscriber-shaped — addresses resolve as <ip>.gpon.sta.format24.ua, naming the GPON access technology and the static-address product.

Notable

• A small eyeball network: roughly six IPv4 prefixes plus a single IPv6 /48. Addresses here are homes and small businesses on a GPON access network, not servers.
• The company name and the trading name diverge, which is why the AS resolves under two different labels depending on which registry field is read. The rDNS is the honest signal: it is a residential access network.

Interesting

• The -TV- in the handle is not decorative. The operator grew out of a television-service business, and IPTV is still sold alongside the internet product.
