AS6366 PDXNET

PDXNET is the autonomous system of Portland State University, the public research university in downtown Portland, Oregon. It carries the campus network and the university's public-facing services.

The address space is institutional, not commercial. It maps to campus buildings, labs, wired and wireless networks and residence halls rather than to a consumer ISP's subscriber pools, so it behaves like a university network: bursty, weekday-heavy, and dominated by dorm and lab clients rather than households.

The AS is registered under ARIN and dates to the mid-1990s expansion, when individual US universities began taking their own AS numbers instead of sitting behind a regional network.
