AS9911 CONNECTPLUS-AP Singapore Telecom

AS9911 (CONNECTPLUS-AP) is registered to Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) and named after ConnectPlus, Singtel's managed enterprise connectivity family. ConnectPlus IP VPN is a fully managed MPLS network service sold to corporate customers across Asia Pacific and beyond, with router management, class-of-service handling and internet breakout bundled in.

What it's used for

Corporate VPN address space, not a public access network. RIS sees 12 IPv4 prefixes carrying 12,288 addresses, no IPv6 originated here, and a single observed BGP neighbour (its parent Singtel network). The routing shape is the story: every one of the twelve prefixes is exactly a /22, and they are drawn from five separate parent ranges (101.192, 101.193, 103.114, 117.120, 211.102). Uniformly sized blocks scattered across unrelated parents is what a managed-service platform looks like when it carves address pools per region or per service node, rather than an ISP growing organically into one contiguous allocation.

The reverse DNS supports that. Sampled addresses resolve, but to undefined.hostname.localhost — a vendor default that a managed-CPE or router platform emits when nobody has set a name. The zones are delegated and answering; the contents are simply generic. That is the fingerprint of provisioned managed equipment, not of hosted servers or of subscribers who name their own boxes.
