AS9671 (TRADEVAN-AS-AP) is held by Trade-Van Information Services Co., Ltd. (關貿網路), a Taipei-headquartered information-services company that runs Taiwan's customs-clearance and trade-facilitation value-added network. Trade-Van operates the EDI platforms through which importers, exporters, forwarders and customs brokers file with Taiwan Customs, and has expanded into adjacent e-government and e-commerce platforms.

What it's used for

This is an enterprise / service-platform network, not an access ISP. RIS sees 15 IPv4 prefixes carrying 8,192 addresses and 2 IPv6 prefixes, all of it drawn from one contiguous range: a 202.173.32.0/19 aggregate that is then deaggregated into /20s and a long tail of /24s, plus a 2405:4500::/32 with a single /48 more-specific. The deaggregation pattern is typical of a datacentre operator slicing an allocation into per-service or per-platform segments rather than of a network handing addresses out to subscribers. Only 2 observed BGP neighbours confirms the role: this network buys transit and sits at the edge, it does not sell it. The addresses sampled for reverse DNS returned no PTRs, which for a business-to-business filing platform is unremarkable.

Notable

• Trade-Van is publicly listed in Taiwan (ticker 6183) and its customs and tax-filing platforms are relied on for cross-border trade, which makes this a low-volume but high-consequence network.
• A single IPv4 /19 and one IPv6 /32 have been enough for the whole business: the inventory has stayed small and stable rather than growing with acquisitions.
