AS9667 (HOSTWORKS-AS-AP) is registered to 5G Network Operations Pty Ltd, the operating entity of the ASX-listed Australian managed-services and data-centre group 5G Networks (5GN). The handle preserves the name of Hostworks, the Adelaide-based managed hosting provider whose network this originally was; Hostworks was acquired from Inabox by 5G Networks and folded into the group.

What it's used for

This is a managed-hosting and enterprise network, not an eyeball ISP. RIS sees 8 IPv4 prefixes carrying 8,448 addresses and no IPv6, anchored on a single 202.58.32.0/19 block with a handful of more-specific /22s, /23s and /24s carved out of it. Just 1 observed BGP neighbour puts it firmly at the edge of the routing graph: a single-homed customer network taking transit rather than a carrier selling it. The reverse DNS is the giveaway for its role: names such as hwmailrelay02.hostworks.net.au and tpstream1.hostworks.com.au are infrastructure hostnames (mail relay, streaming) under the Hostworks domains, the signature of hosted platforms and managed services running for corporate customers rather than of subscriber access lines. One out-of-block prefix, 180.94.113.0/24, carries PTRs under aptel.com.au, a separate Australian telecom domain, so at least part of the space is carrying a distinct customer or brand.

• The registry handle and the holder name disagree only because of corporate history: the network is Hostworks' original address space, now operated by 5GN.
• Small, deliberately concentrated inventory: one legacy /19 plus deaggregates, with no IPv6 announced.
