AS9531 GEDU-AS-KR Gwangju Education Research Information Service

AS9531 (GEDU-AS-KR) is held by the Gwangju Education Research and Information Institute (광주광역시교육청 교육연구정보원), the information-services body of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Office of Education in South Korea. It runs the educational network and information systems for the city's public schools and for the Office of Education itself.

The announcements are large, contiguous, and clearly planned: 210.218.0.0/18 and 210.218.64.0/19 alone account for most of the space, alongside 210.217.224.0/19, 211.253.72.0/21, 211.253.68.0/22 and one /24. Aggregated blocks like these are what a body that received a proper allocation and subnetted it downward looks like, rather than one that accumulated scraps.

Just 1 BGP neighbour is observed. A single upstream on 36k addresses is the signature of an end-user network with no transit ambitions at all: it buys connectivity from a Korean carrier and distributes it internally to schools, administrative offices and the institute's own education-service platforms. No IPv6 is announced.
