AS9366 (SOLITON-NET) is held by Soliton Systems K.K. (株式会社ソリトンシステムズ), a Tokyo-based IT security vendor headquartered in Shinjuku. Soliton builds certificate-based authentication and network-access-control products, secure remote access, and low-latency live video transmission over cellular links used for remote operation of vehicles, drones and machinery. IPinfo classifies the ASN as business, not as an ISP.

What it's used for

The routing footprint is that of a single company running its own corporate and product infrastructure, not a service provider. • The complete absence of IPv6 is unusual for a security vendor and worth noting if you are reasoning about reachability from v6-only clients.
• The name is the company's, not a product's, and it collides with several unrelated "Soliton" entities worldwide. This one is the Japanese one.
