AS9339 DATAPRO-CSLOXINFO-AS CSLOXINFO

AS9339 (DATAPRO-CSLOXINFO-AS) is registered to CS Loxinfo, the long-running Bangkok ICT and Internet company now trading as CSL after Advanced Info Service (AIS) took control of it. The compound handle preserves an older Datapro association; the network in routing today is a small vestige rather than CSL's main footprint.

What it's used for

This is not the ASN to look at if you want CS Loxinfo's real network. RIS observes just 2 IPv4 prefixes — 110.170.227.0/24 and 203.146.13.0/24, 512 addresses in total — no IPv6, and 2 BGP neighbours. CSL's substantive address holdings and peering sit under its other, larger ASNs; this one carries a pair of /24s and little else. What those /24s hold is legible from the reverse DNS: both sampled addresses resolve under static.asianet.co.th, the Asianet (Asia Infonet) ISP domain, in the 110-170-227-x.static pattern used for statically assigned customer addresses rather than dynamic consumer pools. Static-IP naming with a two-prefix, two-neighbour inventory reads as business/leased-line customer space or hosted services carried inside the CSL group, not as an eyeball access network and certainly not as transit.

Notable

• CS Loxinfo was founded in the mid-1990s and became one of Thailand's best-known ISPs; it rebranded to CSL after AIS acquired it, and its data-centre and cloud business was folded in with AIS Business.
• The asianet.co.th PTRs belong to Asia Infonet, another Thai ISP brand of that era, which is what the space actually carries.
• The AS number is legacy and the announcement is tiny; treat any geolocation or classification of these two /24s with care.
