AS9334 IMANILA-AS-AP iManila

AS9334 (iManila-AS-AP) is held by iManila, short for Internet Manila, one of the Philippines' earliest Internet companies. It began in the mid-1990s selling dial-up access and has since become a web hosting, web development and digital-agency business; the AS is the routed remnant of that ISP heritage.

What it's used for

The network today is small and self-contained. RIS observes exactly one IPv4 prefix, 203.167.0.0/21 — 2,048 addresses — no announced IPv6, and a single BGP neighbour. One prefix behind one upstream is not the shape of an access ISP: an eyeball network needs address space proportional to its subscriber base and usually multiple upstreams for resilience. It is the shape of a hosting and services company that kept the APNIC block it was assigned in its ISP days and now uses it for its own servers and its customers' sites. The sampled reverse DNS supports that reading: 203.167.0.5 resolves to mg4.i-manila.com.ph, an operator-run mail gateway, and 203.167.4.5 to a host under sysads.com, the sort of third-party or managed-services hostname you find in shared hosting space rather than on consumer connections. There is no residential CPE naming pattern anywhere in the sample.
