AS9193 CONXIONEU

AS9193 (ConXionEU) is registered to Navisite Opco LLC and is the European hosting network of Navisite, a managed-cloud and application-hosting provider. The ConXion handle is inherited: ConXion Corporation was an internet-infrastructure company that NaviSite acquired in 2003, and the European arm's AS kept the old name. RIPE records place the network's contact in London.

What it's used for

This is a managed-hosting estate, not an access network. RIS sees 19 IPv4 prefixes covering 10,240 addresses, no IPv6 at all, and only 3 observed BGP neighbours. Three neighbours is a multihomed customer of the internet; 10,240 addresses across nineteen prefixes is a data-centre footprint sliced up for tenants and services. There is no eyeball or transit signature anywhere in the numbers.

The space is drawn from more than one registry — 207.45.112.0/20 and 144.34.58.0/23 are ARIN-region blocks, while 213.35.x and 62.32.x are RIPE — which for a network like this is explained by history rather than anything exotic: an American parent company with a European operation naturally accumulates address space on both sides. Most of the announcements are individual /24s from those 213.35. and 62.32. runs, the classic pattern of per-customer or per-VLAN blocks in a hosting environment.

The one sampled PTR, 213.35.37.5 → lonswnlbvip1.conxion.com, is a London ("lon") network load-balancer VIP under the legacy ConXion domain — a shared hosting front-end, still named for a company acquired over twenty years ago.
