AS9167 WEBPARTNER WEBPARTNER AS is a Danish Internet Service Provider

AS9167 (WEBPARTNER) is registered to Norlys Digital A/S, the digital arm of Norlys, the large Danish energy-and-telecoms group. The AS handle and its registry description still read "WEBPARTNER AS is a Danish Internet Service Provider" — the name of the Danish hosting/ISP business the number originally belonged to, which has since been absorbed into the Norlys group.

What it's used for

Whatever this AS once carried, it barely carries anything today. RIS sees a single IPv4 prefix, 194.126.250.0/24 — 256 addresses — no IPv6, and one observed BGP neighbour. That is about as small as a live announcement gets. A network with one /24 and one upstream is not selling connectivity to anyone: it is keeping a block of legacy PI-style address space reachable, most likely for a residual set of hosted services, mail or legacy customer IPs inherited with the acquired business.

The gap between the handle and the holder is the interesting part of this card. The name promises a Danish ISP; the inventory shows a single /24 behind a single upstream, inside a group whose real consumer and business networks run under entirely different ASNs. This is a good illustration of why the handle is not evidence: it records who registered the number, not who operates it or what it does now.

• Norlys is one of Denmark's largest utility/telecoms groups and operates consumer broadband and TV businesses well beyond anything visible from this AS.
• The AS name is a fossil of the original Webpartner ISP; do not read current operations off it.
