ASN-MEDIAFAX is registered to EX MEDIA SA at the Bucharest address of

Mediafax, Romania's best-known private news agency. It is a corporate network

for a media group, not a service provider.

What it's used for

• The group's own infrastructure: web and mail hosting for its publications and wire services, plus office connectivity. Four /24s in total — about 1,000 IPv4 addresses, no IPv6.
• rDNS lands on netivity.ro (generic IP-DASHED.netivity.ro hosts and a nameserver) and on mpint.ro, where an entire /24 answers unassigned-reverse.mpint.ro — an unused block with a catch-all record.

Notable

• The four prefixes are registered to different Romanian companies — Mediafax Management SRL, Mediamex Investment SRL, Mira Consulting Plus SRL — which is the silhouette of an address broker. It is not one: every prefix carries the same two administrative and technical contacts, one of whom lists Mediafax SA as their organisation, and the registrant addresses cluster in the same Bucharest sectors. These are related companies inside one media group, not unrelated third parties.
• Nothing here is eyeball or commercial-hosting space; there are no subscriber pools and no downstream networks.

Interesting

• A whole /24 answering unassigned-reverse is a small honesty signal in itself: the operator has bothered to say the block is empty rather than leaving it dark.
