PGE-SYSTEMY-AS belongs to PGE Systemy S.A., the ICT shared-services company of PGE (Polska Grupa Energetyczna), Poland's largest electricity producer and distributor. PGE Systemy runs telecoms, IT and cyber-security for the group's companies, including the PGE-CERT team and the LTE450 private mobile network for energy infrastructure.

What it's used for

Internal group ICT, not a public network. The AS announces just two /24s (~512 addresses) out of the legacy 195.38.12.0/22 allocation, with two observed neighbours. That is an end-site network belonging to a utility, sized for corporate and operational systems rather than for customers.

No PTRs came back on the addresses sampled. That is not proof the reverse zone is undelegated, and it is unsurprising for critical-infrastructure space, which is usually kept quiet on purpose.

Notable

• Classified business, not government. PGE is state-controlled, but it is a listed commercial energy group, and this AS serves group IT rather than a public agency's mission.
• Do not read LTE450 and expect a mobile network here. PGE's LTE450 is a private radio network for grid telemetry and field crews, not a consumer carrier, and this AS carries no subscriber pools.
• A two-/24 announcement from a company whose parent runs a national power grid is a good reminder that an AS's size says nothing about the importance of what sits behind it.
