AS8847 TTL-AS CJSC Telecomm Technology

TTL-AS is CJSC "Telecomm Technology", an internet service provider based on

Bokhtar Street in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and one of the country's handful of

licensed ISPs. It trades under the TTL brand and the tajnet.tj domain.

What it's used for

• Retail and business internet access in Tajikistan. Every sampled address resolves into tajnet.tj with a per-block pattern (ttlNN.tajnet.tj), so the whole inventory is first-party operator space.

Notable

• Compact: about 5.1k IPv4 addresses. The bulk is a single 95.142.80.0/20 deaggregated down to /24s and announced alongside the covering prefix, plus a RIPE 185.166.56.0/22.
• Only a few observed BGP neighbours, which fits a landlocked market where international capacity is bought from a small number of upstreams rather than peered widely.
• No IPv6 is announced.

Interesting

• The heavy /24 deaggregation of one /20 is a common pattern in markets with scarce, expensive transit: splitting the block lets an operator steer traffic between upstreams per-/24. It also means the prefix count (21) badly overstates how much address space the network actually holds.
