SDV-AS belongs to SDV6TM SAS, trading as SDV Plurimedia — a Strasbourg

digital-services company (formerly Société de Diffusion Videotex Plurimedia,

renamed in 2019) that builds and hosts web platforms, chiefly for French regional

press and media clients.

What it's used for

• Managed hosting and application platforms run out of SDV's own infrastructure. Sampled rDNS is first-party throughout: bgw.loop.sdv.fr, k8s-cluster1.sdv.fr, and generic per-address names in the srv.sdv.fr zone.
• Bulk email delivery. One /24 resolves to PowerMTA-style names (activecom-pmta-smtp.sdv.fr, mtaNNN.activemailer.pro), matching SDV's email-routing product.

Notable

• Small but well-connected: around 16.9k IPv4 addresses across four prefixes, one IPv6 prefix, yet roughly 126 observed BGP neighbours — the peering profile of a content host sitting on French exchanges rather than a transit carrier.
• The 213.245.2.0/24 prefix carries completel.net and rev.sfr.net reverse names, a leftover of the Completel/SFR lineage of that block rather than SDV's own naming. Do not read it as SFR access space.
• The AS has been visible in BGP since at least 2000, consistent with a company whose Videotex-era name predates the web.
