AS8723 INTEGRA-AS

ITS Integra SAS (INTEGRA-AS) — a French managed-hosting and private-cloud

operator. Around 12,000 IPv4 addresses across ~35 prefixes, with a well-peered

network (dozens of BGP neighbours) and its own IPv6 /32.

What it's used for

• Hosting and running applications for customers rather than selling raw servers. The rDNS reads like an operations inventory: prod01-CUSTOMER-SERVICE.integra.fr, rec17-CUSTOMER-APP.integra.fr — a production/recette (staging) naming split, one hostname per managed workload.
• The customer names visible in that rDNS are the giveaway for the market it serves: French public bodies and regulated sectors (the CNC film agency, the ANSM medicines regulator, defence-adjacent logistics), plus healthcare clinics, media and enterprise IT.
• Backbone routers are named out of the AS itself (NNN-N-ROUTER.core.as8723.net), which is a nice tell that the network is operated in-house rather than resold.

Notable

• Managed hosting, not eyeball or transit space: there are no dynamic, DSL or subscriber-pool naming conventions anywhere in the address space, and every sampled host is a named application server or firewall.
• The concentration of French regulator and health-sector workloads means this space geolocates to French data centres, not to the organisations named in the hostnames.
