Aspan Telecom LLP (ASPAN-AS) — an internet provider in Almaty, Kazakhstan,

operating from Shevchenko Street with roughly 6,000 IPv4 addresses. Small,

single-city, and connected through Kazakh upstreams rather than peering directly.

What it's used for

• Last-mile internet access in the Almaty region. The company's own material and customer accounts describe wireless radio-channel links and dedicated connectivity, which points at business and organisational customers rather than a mass-market broadband product.
• The address space is three blocks: a legacy RIPE /20 in 217.11.64.0/20 registered to the company in Kazakhstan, a later RIPE /22, and an ARIN /22 it acquired outright — all three registered directly to Aspan Telecom LLP under its own maintainer.

Notable

• There is no reverse DNS anywhere in the AS. Not one of the 27 announced prefixes has a delegation, so there is no independent evidence of what the space actually carries: no subscriber pools, no named servers, nothing. The classification here rests on the company's stated business, not on the network.
• Scattered blocks across two RIRs with no rDNS is also the silhouette of an address broker, but it does not apply here: every prefix is registered to Aspan itself, with its own maintainer and contacts, rather than to unrelated third parties.
