Crimeainfocom Ltd (CRIMEAINFOCOM-AS) — a small internet provider on the

Crimean peninsula. It holds two provider-independent /22s registered directly

to the company, roughly 2,000 IPv4 addresses in total.

What it's used for

• Server and business connectivity. The little rDNS that exists points at the operator's own hosts under crimeainfo.com (baza.crimeainfo.com, pegasus.crimeainfo.com), and elsewhere the reverse zone is delegated in RFC 2317 style at /29 granularity — the signature of handing small static subnets to business customers rather than running dynamic subscriber pools.
• No DSL, PPPoE, CGN or dynamic naming appears anywhere in the sampled space.

Notable

• Single-homed behind [AS6789](https://asn.ipinfo.app/AS6789) (Crelcom), one of the peninsula's larger operators. A network this size with one upstream and no downstreams is a customer of the local market, not a carrier in it.
• The registry country on both blocks reads RU, changed from Ukraine after 2014. Geolocation of Crimean space is politically contested and inconsistent across databases, so the country field here should be read as a registry fact, not a settled one.

Interesting

• The /29 reverse delegations are worth noticing on their own: an ISP only bothers with RFC 2317 when customers need control of their own PTR records, which almost always means mail servers.
