• Internal corporate connectivity for HPE sites in EMEA. It announces roughly 1,800 addresses across a handful of /24s carved out of HPE's own legacy space, and publishes no rDNS on any of them — the pattern of a private corporate estate rather than a public-facing service network.
• Upstream connectivity is bought, not sold: a small number of BGP neighbours, no downstream customers.

Notable

• Every announced block sits inside 16.0.0.0/8, the Class A that ARIN records as registered to Hewlett Packard in May 1989. HP was one of the early corporate recipients of a full /8, and HPE retained it through the 2015 split from HP Inc.
• Announcing a couple of /24s out of a 16-million-address block is normal for legacy /8 holders: almost all of it is used internally and never routed on the public internet.

Interesting

• The address space is American legacy allocation and the routing is European, which is a good reminder that a prefix's registry region says nothing about where the packets land.
