Infracom Holding B.V. (Infracom-AS), a Dutch business-communications provider

based in Zwolle. It sells connectivity, VoIP and managed network services to Dutch

organisations.

What it's used for

• B2B internet access and hosted voice/network services: reverse DNS on the announced space resolves to first-party infrastructure such as gw.mb.infracom.nl.
• About 7,900 IPv4 addresses across eight prefixes, plus IPv6.

Notable

• The neighbour count is the interesting number: roughly 90 observed BGP neighbours against a very small address inventory. That is the signature of an operator that peers openly at the Dutch exchanges (AMS-IX and friends) rather than one that resells transit. It has upstreams but essentially no downstream networks.
• A sampled address in 185.49.140.0/23 resolves to unbound.resolver.nlnetlabs.nl, the public resolver run by NLnet Labs, the Dutch open-source DNS research foundation. Infracom carries that space.

Interesting

• A high peer count with a tiny prefix count is easy to misread as a transit carrier. Here it reflects a well-connected regional B2B provider that shows up at many exchange points but carries only its own customers' traffic.
