• Campus networking for faculties, labs, libraries and administration: reverse DNS on the announced space resolves to departmental hosts such as pc-1.econ.uoi.gr, pc-1.med.uoi.gr and pc1.math.uoi.gr.
• Network operations infrastructure sits under noc.uoi.gr (mq.noc.uoi.gr, ifw.noc.uoi.gr), the university's own NOC.
• Around 9,500 IPv4 addresses across seven prefixes, plus IPv6.

Notable

• The address space is a mix of 195.130.x, 195.251.x and 83.212.x blocks, the last of which is GRNET (the Greek Research and Technology Network) space, consistent with a Greek university connected through the national research network.
• One announced /24 carries wwwserver.ioa.teiep.gr reverse DNS, from the former Technological Educational Institute of Epirus, which was merged into the University of Ioannina in 2019. The routing still reflects that merger.

Interesting

• With a single observed neighbour, the AS is effectively single-homed to the research network rather than multi-homed to commercial transit, which is typical for an NREN-connected campus.
