What it's used for

• Publishing and protecting the group's own internet-facing estate: online and mobile banking front ends, corporate sites, and the connectivity behind them. The AS exists so the bank can multi-home its own edge rather than depend on a single carrier's addressing.
• Every prefix it announces comes out of a single legacy 141.92.0.0/16, registered LLOYDSBANK as provider-independent space. The many /24s and /20s in the table are just that /16 sliced up for traffic engineering.

Notable

• Enterprise address space. Nothing here is subscriber or hosting space, and nothing is sold to third parties. An address in this range belongs to the bank.
• Reverse DNS is essentially absent, which is deliberate and normal for a financial institution's edge: there is no operational reason to name the hosts publicly, and a good security reason not to.
