AS8423 NetcoRR

NETCORR-AS is NetcoRR Synergies SRL, a Bucharest-based managed-services

provider. It sells managed networks and managed application hosting to business

customers rather than retail internet access.

What it's used for

• Connectivity and hosted infrastructure for corporate clients. The registry says so directly: one allocation is described as NetcoRR - Business Customers and another as the NetcoRR-SP Backbone.
• One of its /24s is assigned outright to a named Romanian company (a Bucharest business-process outsourcing firm), which is the classic shape of a provider numbering a customer site out of its own space.
• Around 5,000 IPv4 addresses in nine prefixes, with a comparatively generous IPv6 footprint, upstream to Cogent, NTT, Hurricane Electric and a local carrier.

Notable

• Business address space, not eyeball space. There are no subscriber pools here; reverse DNS resolves flatly to netcorr.com, with backbone hosts under sp.netcorr.com and the occasional customer domain.
• The small IPv4 count relative to the peering profile is typical of a managed service provider: the value is in the operated infrastructure, not the address volume.

• The mixed-case NetcoRR spelling is the company's own; datasets that normalise it to NETCORR obscure the fact that the double-R is deliberate branding.
