AS8416 INFOLINE-AS

INFOLINE-AS is InfoLada Ltd, a regional internet provider in Tolyatti,

Samara Oblast, also serving Samara and Zhigulyovsk. Founded in the mid-1990s, it

sells home internet, digital TV and telephony, plus office connectivity.

What it's used for

• Consumer and small-business access across a handful of cities in the Samara region: about 42,000 IPv4 addresses in four prefixes, mostly 178.163.0.0/17, 217.113.112.0/20 and 81.23.176.0/20, with an IPv6 allocation alongside.
• The registry netnames are the operator's own (RU-INFOLADA-…), so the space is used by InfoLada itself rather than sub-let to unrelated parties.

• An eyeball network: the product line is home internet and TV, so addresses here mostly front subscribers in one Russian region.
• Reverse DNS is absent across the whole announced space. That is common for Russian regional ISPs but it means there is no per-host signal separating a residential connection from a business line here — the classification rests on the operator's own product line, not on rDNS evidence.

• The name is a nod to the city: Tolyatti is the home of AvtoVAZ, the maker of Lada cars, and the company was built to serve the town that grew up around the plant.
