HBVB is HBVB Private Unlimited, a UK holding company of the **Bauer Media

Group**, the German family-owned publishing and broadcasting business. Its

registered office is Media House on Peterborough Business Park, Bauer's UK base,

and its corporate directors include Heinrich Bauer Verlag Beteiligungs GmbH.

What it's used for

• Corporate networking for Bauer's UK media operations. The AS announces only three /24s: 194.50.118.0/24, held as provider-independent space since 2006, and a 185.123.236.0/22 allocation from 2015 out of which two /24s are routed.
• There is no subscriber, hosting or transit footprint here, and essentially no published reverse DNS, which is the ordinary shape of an in-house enterprise network.

Notable

• An opaque handle, not a service provider. "HBVB Private Unlimited" gives away nothing about the holder, and the AS is easy to mislabel from the name alone. The Companies House record is what settles it: the entity sits inside the Bauer group, which in the UK publishes consumer magazines and runs commercial radio.
• Addresses here should be read as company infrastructure, not as anything that serves the public. They are not eyeball space, and geolocating them to end users would be wrong.
• The whole inventory is registered to the holder itself, with a single shared technical contact. There is no sign of leased or third-party address space.
