CAMDATA is CamData GmbH, a managed IT services provider based in

Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia. It builds and runs infrastructure for

mid-sized German companies: virtualised servers, backup, security monitoring and

business connectivity.

What it's used for

• Hosting and managed infrastructure operated on behalf of the company's clients. CamData runs its own German data-centre space and sells virtualised server and workplace environments, security operations and backup from it.
• The AS announces a single /21, 188.65.200.0/21, plus IPv6. The RIPE object covering it is named CAMDATA-CORE and is registered directly to the company.

Notable

• A small, self-contained provider network. One allocation, two upstreams, no downstream customers of its own. Nothing here is eyeball or subscriber space, and there is essentially no published reverse DNS.
