an accurate summary of what the registry says about it.

What it's used for

• Announces only three prefixes — roughly 3,000 addresses — from two legacy allocations registered to Bezeq International. Its single upstream is [AS8551](https://asn.ipinfo.app/AS8551), Bezeq International's main Autonomous System.
• There is no reverse DNS anywhere in the space, and no downstream networks.

Notable

• Do not inherit Bezeq International's eyeball kind onto this AS. The company's subscribers sit behind AS8551; AS8203 is a small heritage AS carrying a couple of old blocks. Nothing observable says what those addresses do, so it is left unclassified rather than guessed at.
• The RIPE netnames (IL-BEZEQ-INTERNATIONAL-19930901 and …19930902) encode September 1993 allocation dates, so the address space itself is genuinely early — unlike the aut-num's 1970-01-01 created date, which is a RIPE placeholder for pre-database objects and means nothing.
