AS8079 HTS

HTS is High-Q Technical Solutions, a very small network-services operator

registered to a PO Box in Rolla, Missouri. This low AS number was reissued:

ARIN's records show the AS8079 registration and the org record both created in

January 2025, so it carries no early-internet history.

What it's used for

• Hard to say with confidence, and the card does not guess. The AS announces a single IPv4 /24 (23.133.108.0/24, netname HTS-6TO4) and one IPv6 /40, with a handful of IPv6 prefixes disaggregated out of it.
• The IPv6-heavy shape and the 6TO4 netname point at IPv6 transition or tunnel work rather than at hosting or access, but that is an inference, not a confirmation.

Notable

• Zero reverse DNS on either the IPv4 /24 or the IPv6 space, and no public website resolving for the contact domain. One named individual is listed for every ARIN role — admin, tech, NOC, routing, DNS and abuse.
• Deliberately left unclassified. There is not enough evidence to put it honestly in any kind bucket, and a small single-/24 network with no rDNS is exactly the shape that gets mislabelled.

Interesting

• A reminder that a low AS number is not a pedigree. Numbers freed by defunct holders go back into the pool, and this one landed with a Missouri PO Box in 2025.
