provider for small and mid-sized businesses. It sells business internet access,

hosted VoIP telephony, and private fibre connectivity into cloud providers.

What it's used for

• Business internet and VoIP for New York-area companies. The customer is an office, not a household and not a datacentre tenant.

Notable

• Small and dependent: two /22s (204.141.116.0/22 and 204.141.20.0/22, ~2k addresses) and a single observed upstream, AS11168 (Smart Choice Communications).
• Those /22s are not Microserve's own address space — they sit inside 204.141.0.0/16, an NTT America direct allocation. This is provider-assigned space announced from a legacy AS number, so ARIN whois on the prefix alone cards NTT rather than the operator actually routing it.
• No reverse DNS is published on the announced space, which is common for a small B2B network but does mean the inventory offers little beyond its size.

Interesting

• The ASN was registered in 1996 and the company predates the commercial web entirely. It has stayed independent and stayed small — 2,048 addresses is about as light a footprint as a two-byte AS number gets.
