DRMSCPASN is Northland Communications, a family-owned telecom based at Dupli Park Drive in Syracuse, New York. The handle is a leftover from Dreamscape Online, the Syracuse ISP Northland acquired in 1996; the AS still carries Dreamscape's name long after the brand was folded in.

• Fiber, Ethernet and broadband service across Central New York, plus business voice, colocation and hosting. Northland markets primarily to businesses in the Syracuse, Utica, Rome and Oneida corridor.
• Around 114 mostly-/24 prefixes drawn from several ARIN blocks (209.217.192.0/19, 67.216.0.0/20, 216.171.176.0/20, 205.142.148.0/22 and others), plus IPv6 2606:fe00::/32.
• Reverse DNS is templated across the whole footprint on a single provider domain, of the form 205-142-149-1.northland.net. It is a generic per-address pattern that does not distinguish business circuits from residual consumer lines, so the split cannot be read from rDNS alone.

• This is regional ISP address space in upstate New York with a business-first customer base, rather than a large consumer eyeball network. Northland's own product catalogue is built around business internet, business phone and cloud services.
• The fragmented, many-/24 prefix inventory is the normal shape of a small ISP that grew through acquisitions and successive ARIN assignments, not an address-broker pattern: every block is ARIN-registered to Northland itself and all of it carries consistent provider rDNS.

Interesting

• Dreamscape is remembered as the first ISP in New York State to deploy DSL. The ASN handle preserves the name of a network that stopped being a separate company three decades ago.
