Notable

• Hondutel is a government-owned company, but the AS is an ordinary access network rather than a government agency network — treat it as an ISP whose shareholder happens to be the Honduran state, not as government address space.
• Reverse DNS is effectively absent across the entire range. That is common among Latin American incumbents but it means there is no independent confirmation from rDNS of the residential-versus-business split inside the space; the operator's own product line (consumer ADSL plus corporate service) is the main evidence available.

• Hondutel was created in 1976 and for years was administered by the Honduran armed forces, telecommunications being treated as a matter of national security.
