AS7650 EDUHK-AS-AP The Education University of Hong Kong

EDUHK-AS-AP is The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the territory's specialist teacher-education university, based at Tai Po in the New Territories. AS7650 is its campus network.

• Campus connectivity for students, academic staff and administration. The AS announces roughly 16,600 IPv4 addresses across about 25 prefixes, all registered EDUHK-HK to the university, together with 2001:ce0:2900::/48 in IPv6.
• The address space is spread over several older ranges, 202.45.32.0/20, 202.45.48.0/20, 202.75.76.0/22 and blocks in 203.188.0.0/16, which is the accumulation pattern of a university that grew its allocation over many years.

Interesting

• The university has been renamed more than once, from the Hong Kong Institute of Education to its current title in 2016, and the handle was updated with it. The AS number itself has stayed with the same campus since the mid-1990s.
