GAMANIA-AS-TW — Gamania CloudForce, the data-centre and cloud arm of the

Taiwanese online-game group Gamania, based in Neihu, Taipei. It was previously

known as Digicentre Company Limited, a name that still appears on some of its

prefix registrations.

What it's used for

• IDC / colocation and server hosting, cloud instances, bandwidth resale, CDN and DDoS-mitigation services for Taiwanese customers.
• Hosting Gamania's own game platforms and corporate services, which is where the business began: CloudForce grew out of the group's internal IT and security team.

Notable

• Unambiguously hosting, and the rDNS proves it: nearly all of its ~24k IPv4 addresses resolve as IP-ADDR.cloudforce.gamania.com, with the corporate and DNS hosts under gamania.com. One APNIC block is registered with the plain-spoken description "IP for online game / mobile game hosting".
• Some of the space it announces is registered to other Taiwanese parties (e.g. a 219.69.0.0/16 block under KBT-NET, whose hosts resolve to static.kbtelecom.net), which is the normal shape of an IDC announcing customer and partner prefixes, not an address-broker inventory: the bulk of the AS is its own space with its own rDNS.
