What it's used for

• Internet access for the Hankyu Hanshin group's cable operators in the Kansai region, chiefly Bay Communications (Baycom) and BAN-BAN Networks.
• iTEC's own hosting and network services for group and third-party customers.

Notable

• A kind trap. "iTEC" plus a railway-conglomerate name reads like an enterprise systems integrator, and iTEC genuinely does build systems for railways and smart buildings. But its ~366k IPv4 addresses across ~130 prefixes resolve almost entirely to consumer pools: baiXXXXXXXX.bai.ne.jp (Baycom) and N.N.N.N.bb.banban.jp (BAN-BAN). This is an eyeball network.
• Its address space is drawn from unusually scattered sources for a Japanese eyeball ISP, including RIPE-region legacy blocks like 213.18.0.0/17 and 149.54.128.0/17. Those are not third-party space: the RIR records show them registered to iTEC's own GAONET and BAI-CATV netnames.
