• Government address space. Two small provider-independent /24s, held directly by the institute rather than rented from an ISP, which is the usual shape for a federal agency that wants its addressing to outlive any one contract.
• The AS object is maintained under DFN-MNT — DFN being the German national research and education network — reflecting the agency's connectivity into the public research network rather than a purely commercial ISP.

Interesting

• The netnames on both prefixes still read DIMDI, for the German Institute of Medical Documentation and Information. DIMDI was absorbed into BfArM, and the address blocks came with it; the registry simply never renamed them. The technical contact on the objects is still listed at the old DIMDI address in Cologne while the administrative contact sits at BfArM in Bonn.
