AS5619 NO-TTSN-ASN1 TietoEVRY Norway

NO-TTSN-ASN1 is the Norwegian network of Tietoevry, the Nordic IT services group (the RIPE org record still reads Tieto Norway AS, in Oslo). Tietoevry runs managed IT, outsourcing and hosting for Norwegian enterprises and public-sector bodies, and this AS carries that infrastructure.

What it's used for

Managed hosting and outsourced IT. Address space here fronts customer systems operated inside Tietoevry's facilities and the company's own corporate network — servers and business services, not consumer access. The AS is present at NIX1 and NIX2 in Oslo.

Notable

The inventory is unusually large for an IT services firm — over a million IPv4 addresses — because it is dominated by pre-CIDR legacy blocks such as 139.106.0.0/15, 139.108.0.0/14, 153.110.0.0/16 and 146.213.0.0/16. Address count is a poor proxy for active hosts on a network shaped like this; large tracts of that space are historical rather than densely populated.

Interesting

The handle preserves a name the company no longer uses, and the RIPE object still routes abuse and peering mail through @evry.com addresses. Tieto, EVRY and their predecessors merged over decades of Nordic IT consolidation, and the registry kept every layer.
