TRUNKNETWORKS-AS is Trunk Networks LTD, a hosting network that carries several

dedicated-server brands — most visibly Virtual Systems (vsys.host), Sollutium

and Servers.guru — across a large collection of leased address blocks.

What it's used for

Dedicated-server hosting for multiple tenant brands. RIS observes 34 IPv4

prefixes totalling 12,032 addresses, plus two IPv6 blocks, 2a09:2dc2::/32 and

2a09:2dc3::/32.

Reverse DNS maps the tenants cleanly. Six prefixes answer as

dedicated.vsys.host (176.97.116.0/22, 212.86.122.0/23, 91.239.77.0/24,

85.137.51.0/24, 85.137.60.0/24, 82.158.192.0/23); four answer as

dedicated.sollutium.com (91.222.174.0/23, 213.111.157.0/24,

138.226.254.0/23, 176.97.120.0/23); and three carry *.servers.guru names

(2.57.241.0/24, 31.207.4.0/24, 167.17.47.0/24).

Transit is genuine and well-connected for a network this size: upstreams are

Notable

• "Virtual Systems" and Trunk Networks are the same operation. Lookups on 194.42.196.0/22 return org ORG-VSL22-RIPE, "Virtual Systems LLC", netname US-VSYS, ASSIGNED PI — a different company name from the aut-num holder. The link is the contact: the admin-c on the aut-num (VS12351-RIPE) and on that inetnum (VS10657-RIPE) is the same person, Vyacheslav Smyrnov. The dedicated.vsys.host rDNS across six prefixes confirms it.
• The AS number dates to 2007-06-20, which makes this the oldest network in the group of hosting ASNs it usually gets reported alongside.
• Address space is assembled rather than allocated — RIPE PI space, GTT sub-allocations, re-registered legacy UK /24s and Lithuanian blocks, all under one origin AS.

Interesting

• 93.152.97.0/24 looks like UK consumer broadband and is not. It answers with .ashgoal.managedbroadband.co.uk and .brightvisions.managedbroadband.co.uk, but the inetnum is LT-CODE200-20080305-GTT — a Code200 UAB sub-allocation under GTT's AS3257 IPAM, registered in Singapore. The domain managedbroadband.co.uk itself resolves into [AS397477](https://asn.ipinfo.app/AS397477) (WGIX, US) and serves nothing. This is broadband-styled PTR naming on leased datacenter space. 84.37.44.0/23 carries the same Code200 netname.
• The 82.23.x blocks look like eyeball space and are not. They sit inside 82.23.0.0/16, historically UK consumer broadband, but each is re-registered today as netname NET-82-23-xx-0-24, "Private Customer" via netutils-mnt, country SG or LT, with no reverse DNS. The history is stale; the assignments are leased blocks.
• Not in Spamhaus ASN-DROP, and no prefix in Spamhaus DROP — unusual for a multi-brand leased-space network of this size.
