NTSC-ASN2 is Vexus Fiber, a fibre-to-the-home provider based in Lubbock, Texas. The handle preserves the name of NTS Communications, the long-standing Lubbock telecom whose network Vexus acquired in 2019 and rebranded; the ARIN record itself dates back to 1995.

What it's used for

• Residential and business broadband over fibre in west Texas — Lubbock, Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Abilene and surrounding markets — and in parts of Louisiana including Hammond, Covington and Mandeville.

Notable

• An "eyeball" network: the address space serves subscriber homes and businesses, so traffic is heavily inbound-consumption shaped.
• Vexus completed a merger with Metronet in June 2022, joining one of the largest independently owned all-fibre operators in the US, though the Vexus brand continues in its own markets.
