AS31173 MEDIANA-PLUS-AS

MEDIANA-PLUS-AS is the network of "MEDIANA-TREID" PP, a small last-mile internet provider registered in Gnidyn, Boryspil district of the Kyiv region, Ukraine. It is a self-contained eyeball ISP, not a hosting or transit operation.

What it's used for

Mediana-Plus provides local broadband access to homes and small businesses in its corner of the Kyiv region. RIS sees a single IPv4 /23 (193.25.176.0/23, deaggregated into its two /24 halves) totalling 512 addresses, plus one IPv6 /48 (2001:678:11f8::/48). That space is announced through roughly ten observed neighbours, including Hurricane Electric, which is well connected for so small a block and points to peering at Ukrainian exchanges rather than a wholesale role. The whole footprint is one access network; there is no hosting or carrier arm behind the AS number.

Notable

Reverse DNS confirms the shape. Every sampled address answers with a generated per-address PTR under mediana-plus.net (for example 50-177-25-193.mediana-plus.net), fronted by the provider's own nameserver and an access switch named for Gnidyn. The address space is RIPE PI registered to Mediana-Plus itself, with no third-party registrants anywhere in the inventory, so the network is exactly what it appears to be.
