mailbox address in Portland, Oregon. It is a very small network, and the evidence

about it points in two directions at once, so this card holds rather than picks.

neighbour. One upstream, no downstream customers: an end network. PeeringDB places

the operator in a Hurricane Electric facility in Fremont, California and, in a

field the operator fills in itself, declares the network type

The inventory disagrees. The reverse DNS on the announced space resolves to

individually named hosts under several unrelated domains, none of them

institutional and none of them the operator's own. That looks like a small rack

carrying a handful of people's or businesses' servers, which is a hosting shape,

not a research shape. When self-description and inventory conflict, the inventory

is the honest witness, and neither is strong enough here to justify a confident

label.
