AS11835 is Nova Fibra Telecom, a Paraná-based fibre broadband provider that was

acquired by Ligga Telecom (the former Copel Telecom) in a deal cleared by Anatel

and CADE in 2022. The AS is still announced under the Nova Fibra name while the

address space now registers to its parent.

What it's used for

• Consumer and small-business fibre access in southern Brazil. RIS observes 63 IPv4 prefixes carrying about 36,900 addresses, plus IPv6 out of 2804:15c::/32, against four observed neighbours. A regional access network with a handful of upstreams, not a carrier.
• The inventory is LACNIC space in /20 and /21 chunks: 179.107.16.0/20, 201.20.176.0/20, 177.21.224.0/20, 187.16.32.0/20 and 189.85.16.0/20 among them, each deaggregated down to smaller pieces. Deaggregation on that pattern is normal traffic engineering for a provider stitching together acquired and organically-grown footprint.

Notable

• The prefixes register to Ligga Telecomunicações S.A., not to the AS holder, and the one sampled PTR resolves under liggatelecom.com.br. Read against the acquisition that is post-merger housekeeping, not a leasing tell: parent and subsidiary are the same group, the registrant is a real and findable Brazilian carrier, and the rDNS is first-party to that group.
• Nova Fibra's footprint spans cities in Paraná, Mato Grosso and São Paulo; the purchase moved Ligga to third place in Paraná's broadband market.
